Wedding Day Detail Inspiration!

One of my favourite ways to start a wedding day is to photograph your wedding details! After I arrive and greet everyone, this is the first thing I like to do. Photographing these beautiful items that you have put so much time and love in to choosing, really helps to tell the story of your day! Having these items put aside ahead of time will keep you feeling relaxed on your day and ensure that I can get right to work.

What personal details should you put aside for photos?

I've included a list to help you feel organized and stress free as you gather your details. Some of these items will already be present while others can be placed into a box ready to go. I recommend bringing all of these that are relevant to you, plus any other special touches that you would like to include.

I will photograph as many as these as I can depending on timing and the getting ready locations of the couple! I also love to bring along extra elements to help with the styling of your details. Some of the items that I may add into the photos are neutral ribbons, a swatch of lace, velvet ring boxes, a silver tray and dried florals or greenery.

Pro Tip!

With the exception of the larger clothing items, these detail items should all fit into one small box/bag. This is the easiest way to keep all of your objects together and as your date gets closer, you'll be thankful that you thought ahead!
